Overview:
Join our dynamic team at Pratt Industries as a Production Associate, where your hands-on skills and attention to detail will play a vital role in our mission to deliver top-notch products to our customers. In this position, you will be responsible for operating production machines-from setup and operation to cleanup-and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. With a focus on safety and quality, you'll be an integral part of our production process, ensuring excellence every step of the way!
Required Skills:
* Strong commitment to safety and the ability to adhere to company safety rules and procedures
* Detail-oriented mindset, focused on quality control and eliminating defects
* Ability to perform various tasks across different departments
* Basic housekeeping skills to maintain a tidy and hazard-free workspace
* Collaborative attitude with a willingness to learn from Machine Operators and Supervisors
* Capability to complete necessary reports accurately and in a timely manner
Nice to Have
Skills:
* Previous experience in the packaging industry (paper, plastics, converting)
* Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP)
* Basic computer skills for report generation
Preferred
Education and Experience:
* High school diploma or GED
* Prior work experience of at least 6 months in a manufacturing setting is preferred
Other Requirements:
* Must be able to work overtime as needed, sometimes with little notice; we operate 24/7, which may include holidays.
* Commitment to cross-training on various machines to aid personal growth and flexibility within the plant
