General Production - 1st Shift

Full-time Regular Direct Labor Fredericksburg, PA, US

The Production Associate is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to poultry processing, which may involve working with live or raw chicken. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, handling and processing chicken products, deboning, cutting, packing, weighing, moving, and inspecting. Associates are expected to carry out all tasks in compliance with company standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.

Additional duties may be assigned by supervision as needed.

• Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Perform job duties in accordance with safety, quality, and production standards.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Willingness to work in various environmental conditions (hot, cold, wet, and noisy).
• Ability to work around industrial equipment, stand for extended periods, lift/push/pull up to 40 pounds, and perform repetitive motions with arms, wrists, and hands.
• Flexibility to work in different departments or positions as production and staffing needs require.

• Demonstrated strong work history and commitment to job responsibilities.
• Previous poultry production or food manufacturing experience preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with groups of employees or customers.
