Position Summary:

The warehouse forklift operator position is responsible for loading and unloading material in a safe manner. They are also responsible for the storage and staging of material. They are responsible for the safe operation of powered industrial equipment.

Essential Functions
  • Follow all warehouse safety guidelines and policies.
  • Load/unload incoming trucks.
  • Ensure packing slip matches what is unloaded.
  • Store incoming material in warehouse racks.
  • Relocate items within the warehouse.
  • Pull material to the production staging area.
  • Pick up material from the Press Shop.
  • Pull material for Press Shop and Laser department.
  • Complete daily check list for the forklift.
  • Remain vigilant.
  • Check for damaged goods.
  • Ensure product moved physically is also accurately moved in Print Stream.
  • Count and return leftover material.
  • Accurately receive material.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Duties as assigned by leadership.
  • Sign in and deliver Fed Ex/UPS packages.
  • Complete own move sheets if receiving employee is busy.
  • Stack and sort through pallets.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with DMS Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Always adheres to all DMS policies and procedures.
  • Learns and adheres to all Information Technology and data security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Learns and adheres to DMS rules and established policies for workplace health and safety.
  • Completes all required compliance training on time and in good faith.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required.
  • Fork truck and Clamp experience a plus.
  • Able to maneuver up to 1,000 pounds (rolls).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Stong computer skills, including all Microsoft products.
  • Ability to interpret various forms of instructions and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work with a team.
  • Excellent decision and problem‑solving skills.
Available Shift

1st Shift Monday
- Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm
