This company is a fast growing, award-winning family‑owned business located in York, PA. It is seeking a full‑time Hydraulic Bench Mechanic to join our Allied Hydraulic Service facility based out of Hallam, PA. The Hydraulic Bench Mechanic evaluates, repairs, tests and troubleshoots hydraulic components and relies on detailed instructions and hands‑on training to perform the functions of the job.
Responsibilities- All activities associated with the tear down, inspection, and repair of hydraulic components
- Test and troubleshoot hydraulic components
- Welding as required
- Machining capabilities
- Work overtime as required to complete projects/assignments
- Complete all training classes as assigned
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures when performing tasks
- Perform other essential and related duties as assigned
- Ability to work within a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and organization
- Strong math skills
- Hand tools required
- Ability to read measuring tools/gauges
- Previous hydraulic experience with repair/troubleshooting required
