** Purpose of Position*
* The Production Floor Specialist assists with managing various production activities (e.g., assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc.) including planning, directing, and monitoring production to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards. This role supports the manufacturing operation by coordinating production schedules, tracking workflow, communicating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring materials, equipment, and resources are available to meet production targets.

The Production Floor Specialist helps maintain efficient operations, timely output, product quality while providing technical support to production employees and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

** Key Responsibilities*
* -    Plan, direct, and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet customer demand, delivery deadlines, and established specifications.

-    Monitor production progress against volume, cost, and wastage targets while ensuring quality standards are met.

-    Identify potential delays, bottlenecks, or material shortages and implement corrective actions.

-    Provide technical support and knowledge for production employees.

-    Liaise with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Quality, Maintenance, and Sales teams as input to developing production schedules and allocating labor and capital resources.

-    Track work orders, inventory levels, and material availability to support uninterrupted production.

-    Plan and prioritize production line maintenance and downtime to minimize disruptions and optimize resource utilization.

-    Assist in planning labor, equipment, and resource requirements to meet production targets.

-    Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.

-    Support implementation of manufacturing processes, standards, and efficiency improvements.

-    Help resolve production and technical issues and escalate concerns as needed.

-    Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company policies.

-    Participate in meetings and provide updates on production status and priorities.

-    Any other task or function deemed necessary to support the business by your supervisor or manager.

** Required Qualifications*
* -    High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.

-    3+ years of experience in manufacturing, production coordination, planning, scheduling, or production management.

-    Strong organizational and communication skills.

-    Ability to analyze schedules, production data, and inventory information.

-    Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems preferred.

-    Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
