Job Description Quality Control Mechanical Inspector / CMM ProgrammerLocation: Chalfont, PA
Schedule: Full-Time, On-Site
Compensation: $26-$30/hour (higher compensation may be considered for advanced Zeiss Calypso experience)

Operating from a modern, clean, air-conditioned facility, they are seeking an experienced Quality Control Mechanical Inspector to support inspection, calibration, and quality assurance activities within their AS9100-certified machine shop.
This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional who enjoys hands‑on inspection work, working closely with machinists, and ensuring the highest standards of precision manufacturing are met.
Key Responsibilities- Perform first‑piece, in‑process, and final inspections of precision machined components
- CMM equipment
- Micrometers
- Calipers
- Comparators
- Manufacturing gauges and inspection tools
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and geometric tolerances (GD&T)
- Verify raw materials and review material certifications
- Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with customer requirements and AS9100 standards
- Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
- Perform annual gauge calibration activities
- Collaborate closely with machinists and production personnel to ensure quality standards are achieved
- Support continuous quality improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing process
- Minimum 5 years of experience within an ISO or AS9100‑certified machine shop environment
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
- Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment
- Ability to perform inspections, calibration, and quality documentation accurately
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Basic math, computer, geometry, and trigonometry skills applicable to manufacturing environments
- Dependable team player with a strong commitment to safety and quality
- CMM setup and programming experience
- Experience with Zeiss Calypso software highly preferred
- Aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus
