Fabrication & Maintenance Technician

Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per year

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication & Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this hands‑on role, you will fabricate, assemble, repair, and maintain specialized steelmaking equipment and tooling used in high‑temperature industrial applications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong welding and fabrication experience who enjoys working with precision equipment in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

• Fabrication & Assembly
  • Fabricate, assemble, and test specialized industrial tools and equipment according to engineering drawings and welding specifications.
  • Perform precision welding on stainless steel and high‑temperature‑resistant materials.
  • Ensure all products meet quality and performance standards before release.
• Machining & Quality Control
  • Operate machining equipment to shape and modify metal components.
  • Inspect finished products for dimensional accuracy, defects, leaks, and overall quality.
  • Utilize pressure testing and visual inspections to verify equipment integrity.
• Maintenance & Repair
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on specialized tooling and equipment.
  • Replace worn or damaged components to maximize equipment performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Documentation & Safety
  • Maintain accurate maintenance, repair, and production records.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2‑3 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, metal fabrication, or a related field.
• Strong welding experience, including stainless steel fabrication and pipe welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Experience operating industrial equipment such as lathes, drill presses, and thermal cutting tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
