CAD Operator in Quarryville

Job Description

Provide detailed shop fabrication drawings and field installation drawings of aggregate processing equipment and material handling systems. Familiarity with structural steel, chutes, hoppers, stairs, railings and general fabrication principles is essential. Efficiently convert provided layout drawings into detailed fabrication drawings. Prepare bill of materials and assist with the material purchasing process. Assist with inventory control including supplies, parts and products. Interact with shop personnel regarding questions and drawing interpretation.

Nest plate, angles, channels, and beams for CNC machinery. Assist with administration duties associated with the engineering department including but not limited to progression sheets, bolt lists and steel lists. Check drawings as needed. Experience in AutoCAD, for use with layout drawings and company standards is a must. Experience in Tekla Structures, Autodesk Inventor and Pronest CNC plate nesting software is a plus.

Conduct site visits for field measuring and data gathering to accurately execute the scope of the job. Other duties as assigned.
