Junior Technician (Manufacturing / Injection Molding)Portersville, PA
We’re looking for a hands‑on Junior Technician to support our high‑volume injection molding operation. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians and engineers to keep 31 molding machines and critical production systems running at peak performance

- Injection molding machines & auxiliary equipment
- Mold changes, startups, and production runs
- Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Overhead cranes, forklifts, and rigging systems
- Chillers, temperature control units, and material conveyance
- Own the floor:
Drive safety, quality, and efficiency every shift. - Turn wrenches where it matters:
Perform mold changes and machine startups. - Troubleshoot & solve problems:
Diagnose equipment issues and execute repairs. - Keep production moving:
Perform preventive and reactive maintenance. - Operate heavy equipment:
Safely move molds using cranes and forklifts. - Improve performance:
Identify root causes and drive process improvements. - Document your work:
Track maintenance and activities in CMMS (Upkeep). - Step up:
Support leadership and fill in for the Lead Technician when needed.
You’re mechanically driven, safety-focused, and not afraid to get your hands dirty.
You Bring- Strong troubleshooting skills (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical)
- Mechanical aptitude and a problem‑solving mindset
- Experience with rigging, forklifts, or cranes
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, production environment
- Injection molding experience (processing or maintenance)
- Mold or die change experience
- Exposure to robotics (gantry systems), chillers, or hot runner systems
- Experience using CMMS systems
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5–10 years of hands‑on manufacturing, processing, or maintenance experience (preferred)
- Work on advanced manufacturing equipment every day

The Role
You’ll report to the Process Engineering Technician and work closely with the Shift Supervisor, Lead Technician, Mold Change Technician, and Material Handler as part of a tight‑knit, high‑performing production team. If you’re someone who enjoys figuring out how things work—and fixing them when they don’t—this is your kind of role.
Requirements- GED or High School diploma
- 5–10 years of hands‑on processing or maintenance experience in an injection molding manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with preventative maintenance systems preferred
