Tig Welder I
The Fabricator is responsible for operating a variety of machines and tools to produce precision parts and assemblies in a manufacturing environment. This role includes fabricating, modifying, and repairing equipment, with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and independent work.
Key responsibilities include fabricating parts from blueprints and technical drawings, welding, fabricating, and repairing machinery within the plant as needed, repairing and maintaining equipment to ensure operational efficiency, installing fabricated parts and components in the plant, performing layout work and ensuring accuracy in measurements and cuts, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all safety practices and promoting a culture of safety, supporting team efforts to achieve KPI goals, and working in alignment with company core values.
Core skills and competencies include proficiency in stick and TIG welding, ability to set up and operate cutting, forming, and welding equipment, strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills, experience with sheet metal layout, bend allowances, brake, and shear, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship, and a team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
Preferred experience includes 1–2 years of TIG welding experience, demonstrated ability to fabricate and weld parts independently, and experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
