Production Manager, Operations Engineer
Purpose
The Sr. Production Planner is responsible for creating and managing production schedules to meet demand while optimizing resource utilization. This position involves analyzing production capacity, forecasting demand, and coordinating with manufacturing teams to ensure timely delivery of products. The planner also monitors inventory levels and adjusts plans as necessary to minimize disruptions.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
- Optimize resource allocation, including labor, equipment, and materials, to maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with procurement and inventory management teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and components.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports on production performance, efficiency, and inventory levels for management review.
- Work closely with production, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products up and down the value chain.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align production plans with business objectives.
- Responsible for and maintain SAP planning parameters and master data.
- BA/BS required in a related field (Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Mathematics, Business, Information Technology).
- 3+ years of total experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a Product Supply discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and influence other members of the organization.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities and analytical skills.
- Experience managing complexity in production planning at a 24/7 manufacturing site.
- Strong attention to detail and time‑management skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience with SAP and MRP systems.
- Experience in PowerBI and analytics tools.
- Familiarity with Product Supply System (PSS) and lean‑manufacturing principles and practices.
Employees can expect a salary range of $86,320.00 to $. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive program. Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, paid time off, and sick leave.
