Quality Assurance Manager — ISO 9001 & Inspections

This individual will be required to read and interpret blueprints, possess an understanding of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, perform first article, in process, and final inspections of products, communicate with employees & customers to resolve quality issues & assure compliance to customer requirements, assist in developing and providing improvements to existing Quality Management System, and utilize a variety of gages including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other gages typical to Quality Control.

This individual will be responsible for preparing accurate detailed drawings, models and bills of materials for components and fabricated assemblies. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with multi-disciplinary projects that require mechanical design, computer aided design and drafting.

Requirements include:
Associates degree in drafting or equivalent degree/training, must have previous experience designing/drafting, proficient reading detailed drawing & assembly drawing, and proficient with Auto Cad, Solidworks is a plus.

This individual must be able to perform programming and machine set up. Master Cam knowledge, multi-axis machining and general tooling knowledge is a plus.

MIG & TIG Welding and fabrication experience is a must. Candidates must possess the ability to read and interpret blueprints. This position requires a successful completion of a fit/weld test.
