CNC Machining Programmer / Supervisor

Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Machining Programmer / Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for programming CNC 3, 4, & 5 axis machining, to produce high-quality components that meet our rigorous standards. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to excellence in manufacturing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations including mills and lathes 3, 4, & 5 axis.
Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes according to specifications.
Conduct quality inspections using coordinate measuring machines and other tools.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs are accurately translated into manufacturable products.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programming and machine operation.
Maintain accurate documentation of programming changes and machine settings.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a Machining manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of all machining processes of all types of materials.
Proficiency in MasterCAM software; experience with Solid Works is a plus.
Familiarity with coordinate measuring machines and inspection techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
