Shop Laborer / Helper

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shop Laborer / Helper to support our production and shipping/receiving operations. This hands-on role plays a key part in maintaining product quality and ensuring efficient movement of materials throughout the facility.

In this position, you'll contribute to a variety of tasks—from finishing and cleaning parts to packaging and making local deliveries—while working in a collaborative, safety-focused environment. Key Responsibilities

• Perform finishing work such as deburring, polishing, grinding, and buffing parts
• Clean and process parts using tools and equipment such as tumblers
• Package products according to customer specifications and shipping procedures
• Assist with shipping and receiving operations as needed
• Safely load and unload materials, including use of a company vehicle
• Complete local deliveries and pick-ups using a non-DOT box truck
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shipping/receiving areas and company vehicles
• Accurately complete required documentation and paperwork
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures
• Communicate effectively with team members and provide feedback when needed
• Support additional shop and production tasks as assigned

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Valid driver's record with a strong safety focus
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Dependable team player who takes initiative and follows direction
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and bending throughout the shift

Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
