Shop Laborer / Helper
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shop Laborer / Helper to support our production and shipping/receiving operations. This hands-on role plays a key part in maintaining product quality and ensuring efficient movement of materials throughout the facility.
In this position, you'll contribute to a variety of tasks—from finishing and cleaning parts to packaging and making local deliveries—while working in a collaborative, safety-focused environment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform finishing work such as deburring, polishing, grinding, and buffing parts
- Clean and process parts using tools and equipment such as tumblers
- Package products according to customer specifications and shipping procedures
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations as needed
- Safely load and unload materials, including use of a company vehicle
- Complete local deliveries and pick-ups using a non-DOT box truck
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of shipping/receiving areas and company vehicles
- Accurately complete required documentation and paperwork
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide feedback when needed
- Support additional shop and production tasks as assigned
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Valid driver's record with a strong safety focus
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Dependable team player who takes initiative and follows direction
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and bending throughout the shift

Schedule
- Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
