Position: Packaging/Labeling Technician I, 3rd Shift

Job Title

Supporting manufacturing operations by packaging and labeling product to ensure quality from start to finish in the delivery process.

Environmental Conditions

Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift, Warehouse, Working at heights

Pay Rate: $18.50

3rd Shift: Sun-Thurs 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM

This position is eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus payable after 90 days of employment!

Millersburg, PA Single-Use manufacturing and warehouse locations.

How Will You Make an Impact?

Supporting manufacturing operations by packaging and labeling product to ensure quality from start to finish in the delivery process.

A Day in the Life:

  • Use computer programs related to the shipment of finished goods.
  • Operate the checkweigher.
  • Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as powered jack and pallet stacker.
  • Complete batch records using cGMP and ALCOA principles with minimal mistakes.
  • Correctly apply labels to boxes
  • Sort and organize

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

Required:

No previous work experience required

Preferred:
Previous work experience in manufacturing, operations, production or lab setting or related field

Preferred:
Experience in a cGMP environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Reading and understanding instructions
  • Using computer programs
  • Operating packaging equipment

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Manufacturing, clean room, and warehouse environments
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Repeated lifting of items/boxes weighing up to 90lbs (50lbs and up requires a team lift)(Provide details)
