We currently have an opening for an Assembler in our INRCORE Facility, located in Bristol, PA. This entry-level role supports product design, development, prototyping, and testing activities for magnetic and electronic components. The ideal candidate is motivated, curious, detail oriented, and eager to expand their engineering skillset under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Job SummaryThe Production Technician I performs entry-level assembly, fabrication, and testing of electronic components and related subassemblies. This role follows established work instructions, safety standards, and quality procedures to ensure consistent and reliable product output. Work is performed under close supervision with ongoing skill development.
Key Responsibilities- Perform basic mechanical or electronic assembly using standard hand tools, fixtures, and equipment.
- Follow detailed work instructions, routers, and visual aids for routine processes.
- Complete basic tasks such as lead preparation, wire stripping, simple soldering, coil winding, potting, encapsulation, and labeling.
- Conduct basic measurements and inspections using calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and other standard equipment.
- Assist with simple functional tests using standardized fixtures and record results accurately.
- Identify and report defects, documentation issues, or equipment concerns.
- Maintain clean work spaces following 5S, ESD, and safety protocols.
- Support material handling, inventory transactions, and basic machine setup tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic mechanical/electrical aptitude.
- Ability to follow written instructions and standard procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Prior manufacturing or assembly experience.
- Basic soldering skills.
- Ability to use hand tools and measurement equipment.
- Ability to learn and follow quality, safety, and ESD standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Work in a production environment with adhesives, epoxy, solder, and machinery.
