SAW OPERATOR

As a Saw Shop Operator
, you’ll set up our builders for success by operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation. You’ll be a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role.

Compensation: $17.00 per hour.

Shift: 1st Shift Monday - Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm.

Location: Biglerville, PA 17307.

• Operate power saws to cut and trim wood pallets.
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis.
• Lift pallets weighing approximately 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Maintain quick hands, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, or roofing highly preferred.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for shifts of varying length.
• Strong communication skills.

• Ability to work in extreme conditions including heat, cold, and air particulate.
• Noise level varies by location.
• PPE required (eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes).
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision.
