Shift Mechanic
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shift Mechanic to join our growing team. This role involves troubleshooting machine issues, performing general maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of our production line. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot machine issues and assist in repairs, including unjamming and rethreading lines, and replacing worn or broken drive belts and bearings.
- Manage product changeovers to reduce downtime, including changing the sizes of paper across the manufacturing line.
- Perform general maintenance on machines and other production equipment.
- Complete required production reports for management using basic computer skills in Excel and Outlook.
- Navigate and comprehend a Human Machine Interface (HMI) to manage error codes, change speeds, and make adjustments.
- Learn and operate web-based systems such as SAP and Oracle.
- Splice various areas of the production line when raw materials run out, including paper rolls, release liners, and label stock.
- Monitor product flow through the production line to ensure quality and productivity.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment with a basic understanding of 5S.
- Operate a forklift; training will be provided.
- Wear appropriate dress and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform any other duties consistent with the nature of the job or as required by the supervisor.
- Mechanically inclined with a preference for candidates with 3+ years of experience.
- Experience in automotive or aviation repair is beneficial.
- Familiarity with running and repairing large-scale automation systems such as assembly lines and conveyor systems.
- Understanding of drive motors, belt/pulley systems, free-spinning and motor-driven rolls, roll bearings, and print/glue applications.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in machine operation, forklift operation, and using hand tools.
- Background in production, assembly, general labor, mechanical assembly, and packaging.
- Experience in construction is a plus.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Clinton, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $53040.00 - $53040.00/yr. The company offers different types of benefits packages to its employees. Health, Dental, and Vision are available. Also opportunity to work overtime and to grow long-term in the company.
