Monday through Friday Shift: 3:30 PM–12:00 AM Saturday availability may be required as needed
3 Saints Baking Company is growing and changing, and we are looking for a dependable, safety-focused Rondo Machine Operator to join our bakery production team.
Our bakery recently transitioned from a cookie bakery to an exciting new focaccia, toast, and specialty bakery manufacturing operation, creating new opportunities for people who want to be part of a growing food production environment.
Position Summary
The Rondo Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating and adjusting the Rondo machine during bakery production. This position requires someone who can take direction very well, follow production and safety procedures, monitor the machine throughout the run, and make adjustments based on dough condition, temperature, humidity, speed, and other production needs.
Safety is a top priority in this role. The Rondo Machine Operator must remain alert, follow all machine safety procedures, use equipment properly, and immediately report any equipment, product, or safety concerns to a supervisor.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, safety-minded, willing to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced bakery manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Safely operate the Rondo machine according to production needs and supervisor direction
Follow all machine safety procedures, food safety requirements, GMPs, and company policies
Monitor machine performance throughout the production run
Adjust the machine as needed based on temperature, humidity, dough condition, speed, and product requirements
Remain alert and focused while operating bakery production equipment
Follow production instructions carefully and take direction well
Help ensure product quality, consistency, and accuracy
Watch for product defects, machine issues, unsafe conditions, or production concerns
Stop and report equipment or safety concerns to a supervisor immediately
Keep hands, tools, and materials clear of unsafe areas while equipment is operating
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area
Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals safely and efficiently
Assist with other bakery production duties as needed
