Job Title

Lamtec Corporation is accepting applications for Summer Helper (Manufacturing) openings in our manufacturing plant. Night shift available. This is a great way to learn about our operation. Recent high school graduates, college students, and those interested in learning about manufacturing are welcome to apply! Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Starting rate $20.00/hour plus 7% night shift differential

The manufacturing plant schedule is 5:30am-5:30pm or 6:00am-6:00pm and 5:30pm-5:30am or 6pm-6am, 4 to 5 days per week.

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Applicants must be available for 12-hour shifts.
• Dependable, reliable, and coachable.
• Willingness to learn and follow directions.
• Physical ability to keep pace with manufacturing line.
• Some mechanical ability.
• Some heavy lifting (up to 70 lbs.).
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, reach, stretch, twist and squat.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Able to read both a standard and metric tape measure and use it accurately.
• HS diploma or equivalent.

• Assist with operation of machine; monitor and stop machine when operator is not present.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Continuously inspect product for defects.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with product received.
• Look out for safety of others, including operator.
• Clean machine as necessary.
• Empty garbage containers.
• Complete all work in a safe and timely manner.

• Plan ahead: have necessary supplies ready for upcoming orders and machine changeovers.
• Assist operator in shafting cores and making splices.
• Mount and dismount rolls.
• Wrap/package finished rolls.
• Palletize finished product per packaging specifications.
• Help ensure product quality through visual, audible, and tactile inspection.

• Occasional moderate to heavy lifting up to 70 pounds.
• Frequent lifting between 10 to 25 pounds.
• Occasional climbing in, crawling under, over, around machinery.

• Fine and gross hand manipulation.
