Join our innovative team as an Assembler in the Sensor Division, where you'll play a vital role in producing cutting-edge sensors for methane detection. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to safety and environmental technology while honing your skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
In this role, you'll build high-quality sensors using a variety of hand tools and specialty equipment, ensuring each component meets strict standards. You'll process and inspect sensors, working both independently and collaboratively to maintain efficiency and quality. Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of vital environmental sensors used worldwide.
Required Skills- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to perform fine manual manipulation
- Physical capacity to move 200 cu ft gas cylinders
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Laboratory or quality control experience a plus
- Experience with optical comparators, soldering irons, pipettes, and digital measurement tools
- Prior experience in a lab setting or quality assurance roles
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Laboratory or QC background ideal
- Ability to lift and handle large gas cylinders
- Work hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with possible variation based on business needs
