Job Description

We work in the local plant connected to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.
Responsibilities- Complete Lyophilized (LYO) cabinet operations.
- Operate manual, automatic, and semi-automatic packaging equipment.
- Initiate and complete set‑up, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs of equipment as necessary to support operations.
- Utilize computer systems to operate equipment where required.
- Run equipment for various size containers, stoppers, caps, and other packaging components as needed.
- Make minor equipment adjustments to clear jams and communicate issues to technicians or supervisors.
- Complete all required log sheets, batch records (including two‑person reviews, sampling, and accountability calculations), training rosters, and other documentation with adherence to Right First Time (RFT) principles.
- Interface with departmental computer systems/databases (Q.E., PCL entries, start/end batches, SAP transactions).
- Conduct in‑process testing/monitoring via paper or electronic systems (dose/seal checks, leak checks, broken glass checks, standards/challenges, reconstitution, control boards/charts).
- Set up and operate steam and dry heat sterilizers with computer interface operations.
- Assemble equipment and perform washing and cleaning of components and equipment.
- Prepare LYO cabinets for operations, including computer interface and manual cleaning.
- Operate LYO cabinets and perform loading/unloading.
- Coordinate activities required to manage inventory of supplies, components, and equipment to meet production schedules.
- Ensure materials are organized, stored, segregated, and staged for production operations.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot packaging equipment, including making minor repairs as necessary (steam sterilization equipment, thaw baths, lyophilization cabinets, inspection, labeling, packaging, and material handling tools).
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience and Skills- Successful completion of SPO Operator – Level 2 Aptitude test.
