Hatchery Technician - Night shift

Full-time Regular Direct Labor Fredericksburg, PA, US

Ensure efficient hatchery operations by monitoring incubating and hatching operations, troubleshooting, and responding to immediate equipment issues. Follow strict biosecurity protocols. This is a shower‑in facility.

• Monitor and correct incubator and hatcher performance.
• Analyze and debug machine errors (alarms).
• Support equipment preventive maintenance program.
• Perform calibration testing/adjustment on equipment.
• Document root cause/corrective actions and maintain equipment maintenance log.
• Maintain inventory control and submit purchase requests as needed for continued machine performance.
• Assist hatchery maintenance program.
• Fill in as needed to support hatchery labor.
• Ensure bio‑security measures are maintained.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed by hatchery supervision.
• Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns.

• High school education or GED.
• Some post‑high‑school education preferred.
• 6 months related experience preferred.
