  • Work closely with engineering, operations, production, and quality teams to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain and improve BOMs, routings, work instructions, production documentation, and manufacturing data.
  • Support ERP/MRP system accuracy related to production, materials, routings, inventory, and shop floor execution.
  • Help troubleshoot issues that impact production flow, scheduling, materials, or manufacturing efficiency.
  • Partner with production teams to improve workflow, reduce bottlenecks, and support stronger shop floor organization.
  • Assist with new product introductions, engineering changes, and process updates.
  • Review production data and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, consistency, and manufacturability.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing floor.
  • Create, update, and standardize documentation to support repeatable production processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, production, process engineering, industrial engineering, or manufacturing systems.
  • Strong understanding of BOMs, routings, work instructions, ERP/MRP systems, and shop floor processes.
  • Experience supporting production teams in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot process issues and work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, quality, and production.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with manufacturing data and documentation.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, process mapping, or workflow improvement is a plus.
  • Background in building products, windows/doors, assembly, fabrication, or similar manufacturing environments is a plus.
  • Must be comfortable working onsite and spending time on the production floor.
