The Scaler rotates among the various workstations listed below and performs the duties for each station as listed. Other duties may be assigned for each station.
Tasks:
- Transfer raw product from cooler to meat dumper with a walk-behind.
- Control dumper to transfer meat to the hopper with computer controls.
- Maintain clean work area.
- Weigh out ingredients to spec.
- Transfer pre-weighed ingredients into an ingredient hopper.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to communicate clearly via phone, in person, and in writing.
- Basic math skills.
- Able to use simple measuring instruments. Detail oriented.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
Pay: $19.35 per hour.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously.
Willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment.
Must be in good physical condition and have good hand dexterity for constant reaching, pushing & pulling motions.

This facility accepts rehires after 180 days. Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
