Quality Assurance Specialist - 2nd Shift & 3rd Shift

Summary:

The Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) works closely with the Laser printing, Mailing, and Bindery teams at Direct Marketing Solutions (DMS) to ensure client specifications are met. The QAS uses a basic understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure that all materials are shipped for production in accordance with established processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Verifies that materials produced by a machine match the machine's job ticket.

* Ensures address blocks and barcodes meet postal regulations.

* Reviews the font size, quality of print, and populated text of Laser department output.

* Reviews the fold measurements and tray tags of Bindery department output.

* Reviews the sealing, postage, and package contents of Mailing department output.

* Notifies the operator and applicable supervisor immediately when any discrepancy is discovered.

* Learns all SOPs for the Quality, Mailing, Laser, and Bindery departments.

Requirements:

* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

* One to two years' relevant experience

* Proficiency with common office equipment and Microsoft Office applications

Schedule Options:

* 2nd Shift Monday through Friday 2:30pm-10:30pm

* 3rd Shift Sunday through Thursday 10:30pm to 6:30am

* Overtime required as necessary
