Illinois Tool Works - - Responsibilities:
Perform precision GTAW/TIG welding of titanium and other specialty metals within a sealed argon chamber (glove box);
Set up, operate, and monitor argon chamber equipment including purge cycles, oxygen levels, and chamber integrity;
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, weld symbols, and manufacturing specifications;
Inspect completed welds for quality, appearance, penetration, and compliance with specifications;
Maintain welding equipment and argon chamber systems in proper working condition
