Experienced Woodworking Machinist
Keystone Wood Specialties is looking for an Experienced Woodworking Machinist to join our team. We are seeking a highly skilled individual who is detail-oriented, takes pride in precision work, and has the technical expertise to set up and operate advanced woodworking machinery.
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Enjoy a consistent four-day workweek with three-day weekends.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up, operate, and optimize woodworking machinery for accurate, efficient production.
- Read and interpret shop drawings, and technical diagrams.
- Use calipers and precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and maintain tight tolerances.
- Update machine programs and make adjustments to improve quality and efficiency.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Follow established procedures consistently while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot production issues.

- Experience operating a moulder
- Experience in reading drawings and specification sheets
- Strong attention to detail
- Shows pride in their work
- Knowledge of wood specifies is a plus
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and company quality standards.
- Proven experience as a machinist or woodworking machinist in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of machine setup, programming, and precision operation.
- Ability to read calipers and other precision measuring equipment accurately.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and diagrams.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable, organized, and committed to following procedures and continuous improvement.
