Position Summary

As a
Floating Kitchen Operator
, you'll play a key role in preparing and cooking products by following batch recipes, operating kitchen equipment, and ensuring strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.

• Handle batch preparation: accurately weigh and measure ingredients according to batch sheets.

• Operate kitchen and food processing equipment — such as kettles, mixers, pumps.

• Clean, inspect, and sanitize all equipment before and after use.

• Follow and document batching formulas and complete daily paperwork.

• Monitor temperatures and cooking times; inspect batch quality pre- and post-processing.

• Work collaboratively with team members to coordinate daily production.

• Abide by Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP guidelines, and all safety procedures.

• Perform light to moderate lifting and maintain a safe, organized work environment.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Strong attention to detail and reliability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic math skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.

• Physical capacity to stand for 8-10 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in refrigerated or humid environments.

• Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends if necessary.

• Typically weekday day shifts, occasional weekends as needed. Actual hours vary

• Comprehensive training provided: sanitation, machine assembly/disassembly, batch sheet interpretation, and equipment handling procedures
