Sand Mold Operator
We are seeking a dedicated Sand Mold Operator to join our team on the 1st shift. The shift runs from Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The role involves operating under a bucket of black sand, pulling a cord to release sand into a box, and shaking the box to compact the sand, preparing it for the pouring of liquid metal to create molds.
Responsibilities- Operate machinery to release sand into mold boxes.
- Shake and compact sand to prepare for metal pouring.
- Ensure molds are properly prepared for the pouring process.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Prior experience in a foundry is a plus.
- General laborer experience.
- Background in assembly, production, and the use of hand tools.
Skills & Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Experience in a machine shop is a plus.
- Proficient in reading and writing in English.
- Mechanical ability and good hand-eye dexterity.
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment and comply with all safety policies.

This position is in a foundry environment, which is dirty and loud. Employees must wear steel-toed boots and safety glasses while on the floor. The role requires standing throughout the assigned shift and adherence to all safety protocols.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Oxford, PA.
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
