Finishing Supervisor

MCC seeks a Finishing Supervisor for our Printing Media warehouse & manufacturing operations. This role oversees finishing lines, coordinating cutting, folding, binding, and packaging to meet quality, safety, and schedule goals. The supervisor leads and mentors a diverse team, manages workflow, and troubleshoots equipment issues. Working within MCC's faith-driven, service-oriented culture, this position supports efficient, accurate production that enables our global relief, development, and peace building mission while fostering stewardship, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily finishing operations (cutting, folding, binding, packaging).
• Plan and prioritize production schedules to meet quality and delivery targets.
• Train, coach, and evaluate finishing staff in a diverse, cross-cultural environment.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards (5
• S/Lean).
• Inspect finished goods for print and finishing quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with prepress, pressroom, and warehouse teams on workflow and scheduling.
• Track production metrics and recommend process improvements.
• Assign labor and manage staffing levels to match workload.
• Model MCC's Christian, service-oriented values in all supervision practices.
