Line Leader II - 3rd Shift

Hours:
40.0 hours per week (shift from 11:00pm-7:00am, 3rd shift)
- Assist in directing employees' activities within the assigned manufacturing area to meet daily production schedules under the supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor.
- Communicate supervisor's job orders clearly to employees, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently.
- Ensure all batch record entries are completed accurately and promptly.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment in compliance with GMP standards.
- Monitor packaging operations to ensure peak performance and safety standards.
- Assist in reporting production performance metrics and suggest process improvements.
- Train peers as needed, and oversee line/area changeovers, startups, and lot changes.
- Supervise and perform cleaning checks, conduct attendance checks, and verify daily task completion.
- Provide updates on line/area status to management and support continuous process improvements.
- Troubleshoot operational issues, assist in deviations and investigations, and support production efficiency initiatives.
- Preferred Bachelor's degree (BS/BA/BT) in a technical discipline OR Associate's degree with 3-5 years of pharmaceutical packaging experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or related industry inspection required.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
- Prior leadership experience including conflict resolution, critical thinking, and effective communication required.
- Ability to perform physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds — vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and focus adjustment.
