Forklift Operator-Material Handler

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse/manufacturing team. This position is responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, load, unload, stage, and organize materials throughout the facility while supporting production and shipping operations. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Load and unload trucks, trailers, pallets, and containers. Move raw materials, finished products, and supplies to designated areas.

Supply production lines and workstations with materials as needed. Stage products and materials for shipping and production. Stack and organize materials safely in warehouse and storage areas. Verify product quantities, labels, and paperwork for accuracy. Assist with receiving, shipping, and inventory activities. Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment problems. Follow all company safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Assist with general warehouse or material-handling duties as needed. Qualifications Previous forklift operating experience preferred. Forklift certification preferred or willingness to become certified. Previous warehouse, manufacturing, shipping, or receiving experience is a plus. Ability to safely operate equipment in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift and move materials as required. Good attention to detail and basic math skills. Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Ability to frequently get on and off a forklift. Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift materials as required. Comfortable working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
