Maintenance Technician - Third Shift

Maintenance Technician – Direct Hire - Womelsdorf, PA
Sunday – Thursday 9pm-5:30am with occasional OT on Saturdays
Starting Pay Rate is $26/hr
Manpower is assisting a well-known manufacturer local to Womelsdorf with hiring a third shift Maintenance Technician.

The right candidate must have prior experience with working on production machinery, troubleshooting skills to identify the core issue, working with 480, 240, 120 voltage, and able to work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Additional Responsibilities Include:

• The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the set up, adjustment, maintenance and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment used in the production facility. Observes machines and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions.

• Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems.

• Adjusts functional parts of machine devices and control instruments, which includes change-over to new sizes and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality in supporting all manufacturing needs.

• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery as needed for Preventive maintenance control.

• Starts machines and equipment to test operation following repairs and maintenance.

• Performs all tasks in accordance with GMP’s, company policies and procedures.

• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of motors, Hydraulic systems, pneumatics, conveyor systems, motor drives and programmable controls.

• Must have 480, 240, 120 voltage experience, also low voltage AC-DC controls.

• Must be able to work with electrical testing equipment (multi-meter, amp probe, etc.).

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
