Assistant Chocolatier - Mueller Chocolate Co.
Mueller Chocolate Co. in Rockledge, PA is looking for a dependable Assistant Chocolatier to join our production team.
This is a hands-on position working directly with chocolate and confectionery products in our Rockledge production facility. We're looking for someone who is reliable, works well with others, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable working at a steady pace during our busy holiday season.
Location: 519 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA
Hours: Monday-Friday, approximately 10 AM-3 PM
Additional hours may be available during peak holiday periods.
- Assist with the production of chocolates and confections
- Measure, weigh, mix, dip, mold, and prepare products according to recipes and procedures
- Operate manual and electric confectionery equipment
- Assist chocolatiers with daily production
- Package and prepare finished products
- Maintain a clean, organized, food-safe workspace
- Help keep production moving efficiently during busy periods
- Perform other production and packaging tasks as needed
- Dependable and punctual
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Comfortable working with your hands in a production environment
- Able to follow recipes, instructions, and established procedures
- Able to work independently once trained
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Previous bakery, kitchen, confectionery, food-production, or similar experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Hands-on experience making artisan chocolates and confections
