Axiom Staffing is seeking a Machinist at a local company in Hallam, PA. This position is a direct hire opportunity. Our client is a fast growing, award-winning family-owned business located in York, PA is seeking a full-time Machinist/ Hydraulic Cylinder Technician to be a Hydraulic Bench Mechanic in our Allied Hydraulic Service facility based out of Hallam, PA. The Hydraulic Bench Mechanic position evaluates, repairs, tests and troubleshoots hydraulic components.

We are looking for a candidate who is willing to take their CNC Lathe experience and apply it to learn to operate a manual lathe.

• All activities associated with the tear down, inspection, and repair and testing of hydraulic components
• Machining capabilities to manufacture cylinder components
• Welding as required
• Work overtime as required to complete projects/assignments
• Complete all training classes as assigned
• Adhere to safety regulations and procedures when performing tasks
• Perform other essential and related duties as assigned

• Previous experience with using a lathe & end mill is required
• Hydraulic experience with repair/ troubleshooting preferred, but not required
• Ability to work within a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and organization
• Strong math skills
• Hand tools required
• Ability to read measuring tools/gauges
