Specialty Granules LLC is seeking hardworking and ambitious Production Associates to work at its plant in Blue Ridge Summit, PA.
Training will be provided. This is a full‑time position with 4 shifts available. Shift assignment is not guaranteed after onboarding.
Responsibilities- Perform general labor to support meeting production demand while maintaining housekeeping throughout the plant.
- Work mostly outdoors, exposing personnel to inclement weather and dirty/dusty areas.
- Shovel material piles, unplug chutes, and clean areas around crushers, elevators, and conveyors as directed.
- Assist with routine plant maintenance on planned down days: basic repairs, patching holes in chutes and ductwork, changing screens, and cleaning bins and ductwork.
- Operate mobile equipment such as bobcats, skid steers, front‑end loaders, dump trucks, and vacuum trucks (on‑the‑job training provided).
- Ensure plant areas meet or exceed all SGI safety standards and perform all work safely.
- Minimum age 18 with a high school diploma or GED.
- Heavy industrial manufacturing or construction experience preferred but not required.
- Eligible to work in the United States without an employer‑sponsored visa.
- Must not currently be an SGI employee (apply through the "Jobs Hub" if already employed).
- $24.75 starting rate; $1.10 shift differential for overnights; $300 yearly safety boot reimbursement allowance.
- Yearly and quarterly bonus potential.
