We are seeking a detail-oriented Planner to help ensure our manufacturing operations run smoothly and our customers receive what they need, when they need it. This role connects customer demand, production capacity, and material availability to keep work moving efficiently across the organization. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working across teams to solve problems and keep budgets on track.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Planning and Scheduling
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer forecasts, orders, and internal capacity
- Distribute production schedules and work orders to appropriate departments
- Adjust schedules as needed due to design changes, material shortages, labor constraints, or other disruptions
- Review production documents, staffing plans, and material requirements to set priorities
- Issue shop orders for manufacturing and delivery instructions for finished goods
- Manage customer forecasts and order entries in line with customer agreements
- Issue order acknowledgements and coordinate delivery timelines
- Interface regularly with customers, key account managers, procurement, and manufacturing to ensure alignment
- Resolve delays, complaints, or scheduling conflicts by collaborating with internal teams and external partners
- Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of materials and parts to support production timelines
- Monitor material flow and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to avoid shortages or bottlenecks
