Position Summary:

In this role you will be responsible for the preparation and assembly of mechanical components.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assembly of various items to meet customer requirements and to support the production schedule
• Examine and inspect component parts, inspect first article produced to ensure conformance
• Verify assembly of parts conforms to drawing(s), to all stated tolerances, and QC requirements
• Communicate effectively with fellow operators, supervisors, engineers, and management personnel within the company
• Accurately process production records, inventory items, and time sheets.
• Process and complete all required QC documentation and records
• Responsible for maintaining the integrity of fixtures and tooling
• Accurately fills out production records, inventory, time sheet, test reports, and other documentation
• Ensures safety and quality standards are maintained at all times
• Responsible for all work areas to kept clean, orderly and safe
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Understanding of basic mechanical assembly.
• Able to properly use and read calipers and tape measures
• Use of hand tools including: saw, grinder, and sander
• Able to perform physically demanding work: standing, bending, and lifting 50 lbs. regularly

Education/Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Six (6) months or more of assembly and/or general labor experience preferred
