Clean Room Assembler – Weekend Shift

This role focuses on assembling and packaging small-part medical devices in a clean room environment while meeting production targets and maintaining strict quality and safety standards. You will inspect parts, assemble tubes used in IV bags for medical facilities, and ensure the work area remains clean, organized, and compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small-part medical devices, including tubes used in IV bags, according to production orders and quality specifications.
• Inspect parts for defects and accuracy, performing detailed quality checks to maintain high product standards.
• Pack finished products securely and accurately, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
• Conduct quality control activities, including completing batch control paperwork and maintaining accurate records.
• Make minor repairs and adjustments to tooling and equipment to support proper product quality and continuous operation.
• Perform all duties safely and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, and established safety and quality guidelines.
• Work cooperatively with other shifts, engineering, quality, and leadership teams to support smooth production flow.
• Operate equipment and tools that require close control, adjustment, and attention to detail while following production orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in the clean room environment and strictly follow contamination-prevention procedures.
• Move between different production lines and responsibilities as needed to support changing operational demands.
• Safely work with and around moving equipment, following all safety protocols and reporting any issues promptly.
• Demonstrate consistent awareness of the clean room environment, including proper gowning procedures and footwear requirements.

Essential Skills

• Previous manufacturing experience, including hands-on work in production, assembly, or related environments.
• Ability to use measurements and basic math to perform production and quality-related tasks accurately.
• Capability to learn, comprehend, and implement Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and safety and quality processes.
• Experience with assembly, packing, production, and quality inspection tasks.
• Ability to operate machinery and production equipment with close control and attention to detail.
• Strong focus on quality, with the ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices and contamination-prevention standards.
• Reliability and willingness to work a consistent weekend schedule from Friday through Sunday, including occasional extended shifts of up to 12 hours.
• Attention to detail and high level of environmental awareness required for clean room work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as a machine operator, picker, or in other warehouse or production roles.
• Comfort working with written production orders and batch control documentation.
• Ability to work with limited supervision while remaining accountable for quality and productivity.
• Flexibility to move between different lines, tasks, and responsibilities as production needs change.
