3rd shift Sanitation Supervisor
Large food manufacturing company in the Philadelphia area is currently seseking a 3rd shift Sanitation Supervisor.
The idea candidate must have the following qualifications and skills:
- At least 2 years sanitation supervisory experience in a food or beverage manufacturing facility.
- Aptitude in production processing and Food Safety.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Work independently, positive work attitude, self-starter, dedicated, detail oriented & professional demeanor.
- Knowledge/experience in FDA, USDA, and food plant operations.
- Knowledge/experience in pest control in a food plant environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Must be willing to work nights (3rd shift).
The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for leading, training, and supervising sanitation employees to ensure the
cleanliness and safety of the facility. This role is critical to the production of safe food products and requires the ability
to work in a fast-paced environment, follow verbal and written directives, and perform effectively under pressure.
The Sanitation Supervisor trains and motivates both new and experienced employees, executes sanitation and
production schedules, and ensures compliance with Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs). This
position maintains the Master Sanitation Schedule (Client) on a weekly basis and demonstrates flexibility to adapt to
changing sanitation and production needs. The role reports to the Sanitation Manager and/or Plant Manager.
