Salary Range: $25.00 To $26.00 Hourly
Machinist – Precision CNC & Manual Machining
Pay: Starting at $25.00 per hour, based on experience, with opportunities for advancement.
- First Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
About the Role:
Join our team producing mission-critical, high-precision SmCo magnet components for advanced industries, including Aerospace & Defense, Medical, and Semiconductor. As a Machinist working with specialty metals, you’ll work independently to set up and operate a variety of CNC and manual machining equipment, troubleshoot process issues, and ensure every part meets strict quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate precision machining equipment (grinding, slicing, drilling, milling, CNC)
- Maintain tight tolerances
- Perform tool changes, adjustments, and basic program edits
- Troubleshoot mechanical, quality, and process issues; support root cause analysis
- Inspect parts using precision instruments
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams
- Support continuous improvement and equipment maintenance
- Follow all safety, quality, and production standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1+ year machining/manufacturing experience
- Blueprint reading and precision measurement proficiency
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
- CNC experience preferred; G/M code knowledge a plus
