Food Manufacturing Production Supervisor | Team Leadership | Continuous Improvement | 1st ShiftA bit about us:We're partnering with a growing food manufacturing organization seeking a hands‑on Production Supervisor to lead daily operations on a 1st shift manufacturing team. This individual will play a critical role in driving production performance, ensuring product quality, fostering employee engagement, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.

- Direct and support day-to-day production activities to ensure operational goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Lead, coach, and develop hourly manufacturing employees while promoting accountability and teamwork.
- Monitor production performance, labor utilization, product quality, and equipment effectiveness to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner closely with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, and Planning teams to support uninterrupted operations.
- Review production metrics and operational data to address inefficiencies and improve overall performance.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements.
- Coordinate staffing levels and workflow assignments to meet production demands.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, and process optimization.
- Investigate operational issues, implement corrective actions, and follow through to ensure long-term solutions.
- Assist with employee performance management, coaching, corrective action, and development planning.
- Maintain accurate production records and ensure compliance with established operating procedures.
- Previous leadership experience within a food manufacturing, food processing, or food packaging environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of food safety programs, GMPs, sanitation requirements, and quality systems.
- Experience analyzing production data and using metrics to improve performance.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with multiple departments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP is a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.
- Continuous improvement or Lean Manufacturing experience is highly valued.
