Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–2:30 PM
As a Yard Hand, you will assist with the assembly, preparation, and shipment of conveyor system components.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with the assembly of conveyor systems and equipment
- Lift, align, and bolt structural components to conveyor frames
- Measure and prepare structural steel assemblies
- Pull, count, organize, and band components for shipping
- Package hardware and components for customer orders
- Load orders and materials for delivery
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Assist with material handling and organization throughout the yard
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and guidelines
Job Requirements
Qualified candidates should have:
- Ability to consistently lift up to 40 pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Forklift experience required
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Steel-toe boots required
