Position Summary Information
Job Description
Summary:
* Creating weekly social media posts to cover all areas of the recreation department, including club sports, fitness centers, intramurals, and aquatics.
* Managing a social media calendar/schedule via Hootsuite
* Maintaining waivers and tracking system for image/likeness usage on recreation marketing materials
* Content and design creation for the Villanova recreation website and marketing materials to be dispersed around campus
* Creating and publishing a monthly newsletter via Mail Chimp
* Attending biweekly meetings to discuss upcoming marketing needs and projects
* Various other marketing projects as assigned
Requirements:
* Working knowledge of various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram (including Reels), Twitter, and Tik Tok - and staying up to date with current social media trends.
* Ability to represent the Villanova recreation brand (including university color/verbiage guidelines) in a way that engages the target audience while reflecting Villanova's mission and values appropriately.
* Comfort with various marketing tools/software systems (or willingness to learn how to utilize them) including Canva, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, AEM, etc.
