The Corporate Communications Manager is the primary storyteller for the corporation, responsible for shaping how AMETEK sounds and how it is understood by employees, customers, investors, media, and prospective talent. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role that includes multiple communication touchpoints: internal communications and employee engagement; leadership and executive messaging; thought leadership; digital; and more. The successful candidate is a skilled writer and editor with a strong command of corporate tone, voice, and audience segmentation, and the judgment to know the best communication option when disseminating information.

They are equally comfortable drafting external communications, building an executive content calendar, scripting digital projects, standing up a global campaign, and analyzing results. They are comfortable with AI tools to optimize creative processes, reduce gaps, and scale a small team's output across a large, decentralized global footprint. This role will be a key driver in developing center of excellence practices across a company undergoing significant digital transformation, including enterprise-wide policy management, best practice establishment, training and guidance for both corporate and business-unit channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Internal Communications & Employee Engagement:
Develop and execute the internal communications strategy and calendar in conjunction with established external content calendar, spanning intranet content, all-employee announcements, newsletters, and campaign-based initiatives. Own corporate intranet (SharePoint) content: planning, writing, publishing, and maintaining a consistent cadence of high-quality material that measurably increases employee engagement. Support change and transformation communications for enterprise initiatives (systems, organizational, and process changes), including audience mapping, phased messaging, and feedback loops.

Contribute to crisis and issues communications planning and execution when required in coordination with Legal, HR, and senior leadership. Build and maintain internal communications templates, toolkits, and self-service resources that enable business units and functional leaders to communicate well without central bottlenecks.
  • Executive & Leadership Communications:
Develop and manage the corporate executive content strategy and calendar based on thought leadership and growth initiatives, mapping topic verticals, channel distribution guidelines, and content cadences. Ghostwrite and edit executive content: leadership messages, top-down remarks and talking points, presentations, social media content, articles, blogs, and video scripts. Support senior leaders on messaging, sequencing, and audience relations when needed; bring a point of view and constructive guidance to resolve alignment.

    Build executive materials:
    PowerPoint decks, speeches, emails, etc.
  • External Communications, PR & Thought Leadership:
Write, edit, and coordinate approval and distribution of press releases, including those related to Investor Relations, business needs, and regional corporate functions. Partner with Investor Relations on the communications dimension of financial and shareholder materials — earnings-adjacent messaging, annual report narrative, sustainability/corporate responsibility reporting, and alignment between what is said to investors and what is said to employees, customers, and other parties.
