Job Description Summary:

The Community Engagement Coordinator for tax preparation position is for students who wish to work in the community providing tax preparation assistance. Work is done off campus with CEIBA, a Latino coalition building organization serving Philadelphia. More information on CEIBA is found here: https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below)..

Coordinators work on various research, writing, and community engagement projects related to Service Deliver and/or policy in the following areas:

• Asset Building for Low-Wage Working Families

• Tax Credits for Low-Income Families and Unauthorized Immigrants

• Affordable Housing

• Equitable Community Development

• Rights of Limited English Proficient Populations

• Nonpartisan Voting Rights

Requirements:

While there is training, some knowledge of tax preparation is preferred. Spanish language is also preferred but not required.

Additional Information:

Transportation may be provided if the successful candidates are van certified.
