Coal Township Location Coordinator

Reports to

Regional Director of Community Gatherings

40-45 hours/week with regular weekend responsibilities.

To lead an LCBC Campus to increasing effectiveness at introducing more and more people to Jesus and helping them to become fully devoted followers.

• Have a personal relationship with Jesus and demonstrate ongoing spiritual growth.
• Support LCBC’s mission to introduce people to Jesus and together fully follow Him, along with our ministry philosophy, priorities, and beliefs.

• Be the Primary Ministry Leader ensuring the location runs smoothly.

• Execute community gathering core with excellence.
• Ensure a distraction‑free gathering experience.
• Serve as the main point person for weekend and midweek experiences.
• Keep all core processes up to date.
• Cast a vision of LCBC values and encourage key engagements.
• Lead the volunteer team and build and develop strong teams to be the church.
• Sustain, train, empower, and equip.
• Make sure all ministry environments are scheduled appropriately.
• Move people to take their next step in their relationship to Jesus.
• Provide pastoral care and support to attendees.
• Attend necessary staff and ministry meetings.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Location Pastor.
• Lead a healthy life and a healthy team.

• Support growing the location by at least 10% annually.
• Have a visible presence of connecting with people in the atrium on the weekends.
• Learn people’s names and stories.
• Engage emerging young leaders by giving them very real responsibilities.

The Location Coordinator will meet regularly with the direct supervisor for planning, goal setting, progress updates, and general coaching. A formal Action and Development Plan will be completed and reviewed three times throughout the year.
