Ameri Corps Full Time Position Details

North Clarion County School District

North Clarion has a need for student assistance in academic and social development for students who display risk factors in Reading, Mathematics, Learning Support, and Life Skills. This demographic of students has historically under performed as displayed in state assessment testing, resulting in a need for academic intervention.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday
- Full Time Daytime Hours (occasional evening / weekend hours)

Positions begin September 2026, Apply now in time to process clearances.

Full Time
- Monthly Pretax Living Allowance: $2,600 (48 weeks/40 hours per week)

Education Award:
Full Time $7,395.00

• Additionally, loan forbearance (pause in loan payments) while serving in Ameri Corps
• Accrued interest while serving as an Ameri Corps member paid by Ameri Corps program
• Education Award Earned when term is successfully completed

Ameri Corps Responsibilities: (in addition to host site service)

• Plan and implement service-learning projects for students at host sites or in communities
• Attend monthly member meetings
• Complete virtual training to amplify service abilities
• Participate in National Service Days and planned events
• Create a service portfolio and track and report service outcomes
• Serve as an ambassador in your neighborhood and community
• Participate in a virtual pre-service training prior to serving at assigned host site

All members must participate in a two-day pre-service training their first and second day of service via virtual training.

Activities are concentrated in the following areas:

• School Readiness & Success
• Mentoring Youth through Service
• Academic support service
• Community Strengthening through Outreach Events and Special Projects
• STEM/STEAM/STREAM activities and service learning
