Job Summary Make a Meaningful Impact Every Day Geisinger is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Medicine team at Geisinger St. Luke?s (GSL) in Orwigsburg, PA. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Job Duties

Department Overview:

• Annual Emergency Department Volume: ~27,000 visits

• Licensed ED Beds: 15 (including 2 Behavioral Health beds)

• Electronic Health Record: Epic

• Coverage Model: Physician: ~13 shifts/month & APP: 12 hours/day

Position

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

• Document patient encounters using Epic EHR

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Position Requirements:

• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Pennsylvania

Education Master's Degree-Physician Assistant (Required)
Experience
Certification(s) and License(s) Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body;
Certified Physician Assistant - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
